[SUENO MLS] First-time host Colorado Rapids, as well as returning hosts D.C. United and LA Galaxy will stage Sueno MLS 2013, the seventh annual nationallytelevised search for the best undiscovered youth soccer player.

Up to 500 tryout spots will be made available in each city on a first-come, first-served basis. Tryouts will be held onconsecutive weekends in D.C. United (April 13-14), Colorado Rapids (April 20-21) and LA Galaxy (April 27-29).

Hopefuls can register at www.SuenoMLS.com for an opportunity to participate in one of the three open tryouts.  In each city, field players will be battling for one of five invitationsto a week-long trial with their respective youth development host club and an invitation to the four-day national finals that will be held May 9-12 at the Home Depot Center and be hosted by Sueno MLSAmbassador Carlos Valderrama.

The competition will be chronicled as a reality show on Univision Network’s popular weekly sports entertainmentprogram “Republica Deportiva.”
 
In addition, one goalkeeper at each of the three local tryouts will be selected as a local goalkeeper finalist and will compete in the nationalfinals for the opportunity to be named El Portero Allstate

  1. It would be nice if All clubs did this, another thing is these Tryouts need to be held during the summer months not the spring, The closest tryout is over 500 miles from me and farther for others so again these clubs are limiting the search for the unknown talent in this country!
