Report: Neymar Signs $57.5 Million Pre-Contract with Barca

According to Catalan publication Sport, Santos star Neymar will cost Barcelona $57.5 million whether he joins the Catalan giant this summer or in 2014, when he would be a
free agent. Apparently, the Brazilian, who is 21, has signed a pre-contract with Barca stipulating that if he joins this summer, Santos, DIS and Third Star Investments, which collectively own his
contractual rights, would share the $57.5 million transfer fee.
However, if he decides to join when he is a free agent in 2014, the player would receive $38.3 million, while his various
representatives would share the remaining $19.2 million. Regardless, the Brazil international is seen as having the final say on when he makes the move to the Camp Nou.
