Manchester United fans have long complained about the atmosphere at Old Trafford, saying that for whatever reason, the sound of supporters singing and chanting gets drowned out inside the stadium.Well, the club has apparently heard its supporters, because on Friday it hired a sound engineer to carry out a report about Old Trafford’s acoustics and how they might be improved. The report,which appeared in the Manchester Evening News, did not say how much United would be paying the specialist.
