Americans prominent in Jamaica opening draw

[CONCACAF UNDER-17 CHAMPIONSHIP] D.C. United's 16-year-old homegrown signing, Michael Seaton, was one of three Americans to start for nine-man Jamaica in its 1-1 tie with host Panama in the opening game of the Concacaf Under-17 Championship.Georgia United goalie Nicholas Nelson held off the hosts until Miliciades Molina's equalizer in stoppage time.

Seaton was taken down for the penalty that Junior Flemmings converted to give Jamaica the lead.

Concorde Fire's Khallil Stewart almost added a second goal as he hit the post in the 57th minute.

Nelson, one of three Georgia United players in the Jamaica U-17 national team program, had several key stops for Jamaica.
