[E-BOOK] Kristine Lilly, twice World Cup winner and two-time Olympic gold medalist with the U.S. women's national team, has published an
e-Book: "Girls Soccer: My Story -- Dream, Believe, Achieve." The e-book, in collaboration with Coerver Soccer, includes 74 videos.
The
first part of the book recounts the path Lilly took to becoming the world record holder for national team appearances with 352. Lilly played on boys teams in Connecticut until high school because when
she started out there were limited opportunities for girls. She debuted for the USA at age 16 in 1987 and retired in 2010 at age 39.
She played for Anson Dorrance, Tony DiCicco,
April Heinrichs, Greg Ryan and Pia Sundhage during her long tenure with the U.S. national team. In addition to her two World Cup and two Olympic titles, she won four national
championships with the University of North Carolina, and played pro ball in Sweden, the WUSA and WPS.
The second part of the book is coaching and training content from Coerver
Coaching’s Alf Galustian and Charlie Cooke.
The e-book, an introductory video of which can be seen HERE, retails from 49.95.
