Bradley's Egypt remains perfect

[WORLD CUP 2014 QUALIFYING: Africa] Bob Bradley's Egypt remained perfect in the group stage of World Cup 2014 qualifying in Africa thanks to a 4-2 win at Zimbabwe during which 20-year-old FC Basle star Mohamed Salah scored a hat trick.

Veteran Mohamed Aboutrika opened the scoring after only six minutes and Salah followed with three goals to give its fourth win in four games. No other team is unbeaten and untied.

Elsewhere, Algeria overtook Mali in Group H thanks to its 3-1 away win over Benin and Mali's 1-1 tie at home with Rwanda.

Togo's 2-0 win over Cameroon left Libya and Cameroon tied for the lead in Group I, where only two points separate the four teams with two games to play. That's the same in Group J, where Senegal is on top after its 1-1 tie at Angola, which has tied all four games.

Ethiopia remains two points ahead of South Africa after both teams won on the road. Besides Egypt, Tunisia, Ivory Coast and Congo have leads of four or more points.

The group winners will advance to the final round of qualifying when the 10 teams will be paired for two-game series.
