Isco impresses with an ingenious goal

[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] An innovative goal by Isco in Israel at the U-21 European Championship on Saturday from Spain's 3-0 win over Norway helped put the defending champion back in the final.

Spain plays Italy in Jerusalem on Tuesday in what will be a rematch of the full national team Euro 2012 final. Spain enters Tuesday’s U-21 final as a heavy favorite, once again.

Due to move on for richer pastures this summer, at 21, Isco’s been electric for Malaga, and the attacking mid’s presence on La Furia Roja’s U-21 squad is simply more evidence that the avalanche of gifted Spanish midfielders is far from over.

Here he starts on the wing, plays it to the tourney’s top scorer, Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, 20, who finds Isco on the edge of the area. What Isco does next is open for interpretation, but it does involve a wonderful cut, his foot right curling masterfully around the left side of the ball to allow him complete control -- and poof…

    I have been following Isco through the great run with his club Malaga. He is one of the best midfielders right now. No wonder the big clubs are bidding for his services.

    spain is back logged with quality midfielders, I can't see Isco playing for spanish national team for a while. We would certainly be playing for senior national team in most other countries......
