Atlanta and Carolina look to thwart challengers

[NASL SCHEDULE: Week 12] The Atlanta Silverbacks and Carolina RailHawks are 1-2 heading into the final three match days of the NASL's spring season.

Atlanta continues its bid for a worst-to-first reversal when it hosts the defending champion Tampa Bay Rowdies, who are in fourth place, five points off the pace with two games to play.

The Silverbacks won their first meeting, rallying from 3-1 down to beat the Rowdies, 4-3, in St. Petersburg.

Carolina hosts Minnesota United FC, which will overtake the RailHawks with a win.

"This weekend against Minnesota is a very big game," said RailHawks coach Colin Clarke.  "It's the start of an important two weeks of NASL play. The good thing for us is that our next two matches are at home and we have performed well at home.  It's important to go out and continue that success at home starting Saturday night."
