Top-of-the-table clash ends in stalemate

[NWSL REWIND: Day 11] Karina LeBlanc made a season-high seven saves, including two in second-half stoppage time as Portland Thorns FC played to a scoreless draw at Sky Blue FC in a battle of the NWSL co-leaders before 3,002 fans at Yurcak Field on Saturday night.

Starting her first game alongside Christine Sinclair and Alex Morgan, new signing Tiffany Weimer led Thorn FC with four shots. Both teams were back at full strength after the return of their respective national team stars from midweek international duty.

-- FC Kansas City moved into third place with a 2-0 win over the Washington Spirit thanks to a pair of goals from Lauren Cheney. The game was the fourth straight in which the Spirit failed to score. The loss left it with one win in 10 games.

--  Megan Rapinoe finally made her debut for Seattle Reign FC, which picked up only its second point of the season with a 1-1 with at Western New York Flash. Keelin Winters gave Seattle the lead in the first half, but it could not hold it as Kiersten Dallstream was called for a foul in the area that led to a penalty kick Abby Wambach converted and a second yellow card to Dallstream.
