[USA MEN] Chris Woods
will remain as the goalkeeping coach on the U.S. men's national team even though he has joined David Moyes
at Manchester United from Everton, where he coached Tim Howard
As originally planned, Woods will
remain in England and not travel to the United States for the Gold Cup.
“We are thrilled for Chris and the huge opportunity in front of him,” said U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann
in a statement. “He is a top-class goalkeeper coach, and we extremely fortunate to have him as part of our staff. We have had a great
working relationship with David Moyes, and we know that he and his team are going to have great success at Manchester United.”
