Swansea City is reportedly close to signing Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey, after the clubs agreed to a $9 million fee for the 21-year-old. Shelvey, who has seven goals in 69appearances for Liverpool, was told that he is not in coach Brendan Rodgers’ plans for next season.
