According to a report from Globo Radio cited in the Spanish daily AS
, Barcelona paid Santos nearly $22 million to obtain 100 percent ownership of new signing Neymar
. The radio
report claims that the Brazilian club received just $12 million of the $73 million total outlay for the player, as reported by Barcelona.
The biggest chunk of the transfer fee went to
Neymar’s father, a whopping $51 million in commission, while $10 million was split between DIS and Teisa, which each owned a piece of the 22-year-old’s rights, and then $12 million for

Another part of the deal includes an agreement between the clubs to play two friendlies, the first of which is scheduled for Aug. 2 at the Camp Nou. The second will take place in
Brazil between July and September either this year or next. The radio report claims that Barca would have to pay Santos close to $5.8 million if this game does not come to pass.
