Villarreal, which earned promotion to La Liga this season after spending last season in Spain’s second division, on Wedensday announced that it has reached an agreement with Mallorca for thetransfer of Mexico international Giovani Dos Santos. Fernando Roig, Villarreal’s president who made the announcement during the signing ofPina, another new player, said Dos Santos will join the ‘Yellow Submarine’ on July 18, signing a four-year deal. Dos Santos had been linked with the LA Galaxy.
