COLLEGE: Vedad Ibisevic of Saint Louis leads Soccer America Men's Freshman All-American team

Soccer America Magazine named Saint Louis forward Vedad Ibisevic its 2003 Men's College Freshman of the Year:

Unpredictable on the dribble, quick on the trigger with either foot and nasty enough to intimidate some defenders, Ibisevic stormed past Brian McBride's freshman scoring record at SLU and finished with 40 points.

Shared Big West Player of the Year honors with UCSB senior Memo Arzate after scoring 11 goals and adding eight assists.

JED ZAYNER (INDIANA)

Started all 25 games at sweeper for Indiana, which allowed an average of 9.3 shots and 0.7 goals against per game.
