[DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY: U-15/16s] Solar Chelsea SC finished the regular season with a 24-6-3 record, good for second place behind FC Dallas in the Frontier Divisionand fifth overall in the country.

Note: The U-15/16 championship game kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on broadcast live on ussoccer.com.

The Frontier Division was the toughest in the country. FC Dallas didn’t qualify for Finals Week,but the four teams ranked below it did: Solar Chelsea, Houston Dynamo, Texans SC Houston and Colorado Rapids.

Solar Chelsea SC advanced to Saturday’s under-15/16 championship game againstReal Salt Lake AZ at Houston’s BBVA Compass Stadium thanks to a 3-0 win over De Anza Force in its final group match.

HEAD COACHES.
Romanian Adrian Solca and Englishman Kevin Smith, who came over to play indoors forthe Sidekicks in the 1980s, are both veterans of the Dallas youth soccer season.

TOP PLAYERS.
Alan Winnreturned to Solar Chelsea after playing for the U.S. under-17 national team. Toryima Asom had 15 goals for the U-15/16s in 2011-12 and added seven thisseason. He has already verbally committed to Dartmouth for 2014. Bryson Asher, headed to Duke in 2014, leads Solar with 15 goals this season, while Brock Dudley has scored 12, including three goals during Finals Week.
