The surgery to repair his left inguinal hernia was performed by Dr. Glenn Sandler
of Advanced Surgery PC in Rockville, Md.
Pajoy, 32, came to D.C.
last season from Philadelphia in a trade. He has scored five goals and registered one assist in 30 games for United, including two goals in 18 appearances (10 starts) this season. His MLS lifetime
stats are 10 goals and three assists in 50 games.
He started his MLS career in 2012 with Philly after playing in his native Colombia for six clubs since his pro debut with Cortula in
