is reporting that Manchester United could swoop in with a huge offer for Tottenham forward Gareth Bale
now that the North London club’s
negotiations with Real Madrid have hit a standstill. While the English champion has not yet made a concrete offer for the Welshman, it has been deeply frustrated by its failure to sign Thiago
and Cesc Fabregas
, and could turn to Bale to provide the boost coach David Moyes
needs. However, the big problem is Spurs’ asking price: $170 million.
