The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea defender David Luiz wants to join Barcelona and plans to hand in a transfer request. Last Wednesday Chelsea confirmed that it had rejected a $54.4million bid for the former Benfica defender, with coach Jose Mourinho warning the Spanish champion not to submit another bid. However, the Mail reports that Mourinho is merely trying todrive up the price for the coveted Brazil international.
