U.S. U-15s move into semifinals

[COPA MEXICO DE NACIONES] The U.S. under-15 boys national team moved into the semifinals of the Copa Mexico de Naciones with a 1-0 win over Costa Rica on Wednesday. Joe Gallardo Jr. had his fifth goal of the tournament for the USA, which will face Uruguay in Friday's semifinals.

Goalkeeper Kevin Silva saved a penalty kick early in the second half and after a red card to the Costa Rican captain, Gallardo scored on a pass from Christian Pulisic to give the USA its third straight win after opening play with a 1-0 loss to Brazil.

Gallardo scored twice goals against Panama and Uruguay, which won its quarterfinal match over Colombia on penalty kicks.
