In an interview with L’Equipe, Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri claims he would be open to a move to MLS before heading back to his roots at Ligue 1 giant Marseille: "Clearly, economic reality stops me from thinking about playing at OM right now. In the future, I don't know yet. I would like to discover the MLS. I love American culture."
However, for now, Nasri claims he has no plans to move on from the Etihad. The 26-year-old also claims to have won the confidence of new coach Manuel Pellegrini despite an inconsistent 2012-13 season.
"I had a talk with Manuel Pellegrini. We'll see what happens,” the France international said. “He came to me the first day and told me that he was counting on me, that I would be an important player, that I was going to play. We'll see - I'm not worrying about it. If I'm good, the coach will play me. He's just arrived and he has to get results."
