ESPN3 goes multi-screen for qualifying

ESPN3 will present ESPN’s first soccer whiparound program “FIFA World Cup Whiparound -- Quest to Qualify” for fans wanting to follow the many World Cup qualifiers being played in Europe at the same time on both Friday and Tuesday

The three-hour program will air 2-5 p.m. ET and feature live look-ins to on-the-field action and offer highlights of key moments in the games.

Adrian Healey and Taylor Twellman will host on Friday, while Healey returns on Tuesday. The show will originate live from the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill in Kissimmee, Fla.
ESPN3 has the digital rights to 19 European matches on Friday and 17 on Tuesday. ESPN Deportes will air three live qualifiers -- Czech Republic-Armenia (Friday, 12 p.m.); Finland-Spain (Friday, 2:30 p.m.) and Russia vs. Israel (Tuesday, 11 a.m.).

COSTA RICA-USA ON BEIN SPORT. The Costa Rica-USA match will air live on beIN Sport -- the English-language network only -- with pregame coverage beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET.

BeIN Sport and beIN Sport en Espanol will air live coverage of Colomba-Ecuador (4:20 p.m. ET) and Paraguay-Bolivia (6:25 p.m. ET) and beIN Sport en Espanol will continue with the other two South American qualifiers Chile-Venezuela (8:25 p.m. ET) and Peru-Uruguay (10:25 p.m. ET).

The first airing of Costa Rica-USA on beIN Sport en Espanol will be at 1 a.m. ET on Saturday.

-- UniMas and ESPN News will air Mexico-Honduras at 9:30 p.m ET.

COLUMBUS COUNTDOWN. Columbus fans wishing to get a headstart on the festivities for Tuesday's USA-Mexico game at Crew Stadium can gather for Friday's Costa Rica-USA game at a watch party at Fado Irish Pub.
