ARGENTINA (chances: 67%). Qualifies for 11th straight World Cup with a victory at Paraguay but also qualifies if Uruguay loses to Colombia or if it ties Paraguay and Uruguay ties Colombia.

COLOMBIA (chances: 67%). Qualifies for the World Cup finals for the first time since 1998 with a win or tie at Uruguay.

ITALY (chances: 33%). Qualifies for its 14th successive World Cup if it beats the Czech Republic.

Europe standings

COSTA RICA (chances: 30%). Qualifies for fourth time if it beats Jamaica in Kingston and Mexico doesn't beat the USA. The Ticos also qualify if they tie Jamaica, Mexico loses to the USA and Panama doesn't beat Honduras.

USA (chances: 22%). Qualifies for seventh straight time if it beats Mexico in Columbus and Panama doesn't beat Honduras in Tegucigalpa.

GERMANY (chances: 22%). Qualifies for 16th consecutive World Cup if it wins at the Faroe Islands and Sweden doesn't win at Kazakhstan.

NETHERLANDS (chances: 22%). Qualifies for 10th time if it wins at Andorra and Romania fails to beat Turkey on the road.
