[COLLEGE MEN: Weekend] After No. 1 Connecticut on Saturday, No. 2 Creighton lost on Sunday, dropping a 3-2 decision in overtime to William & Mary at the StihlClassic.
Jeff Bombelles scored the golden goal in the 107th minute to complete the comeback for the Tribe, which had tied the match at 2-2 in the82nd minute on a goal by Chris Albiston.
Josh West had put W&M ahead in the fourth minute before theBluejays came back on goals by freshman Marvin Iskra in the 11th minute and Sean Kim in the 64th minute.
–Connecticut had suffered its first loss of the season as the Huskies dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting Bradley on Zach Kovacevic‘s penalty kick 150 secondsinto the match. The loss was the Huskies’ first at home in the regular season in 40 games.
The early penalty kick was awarded when senior forward ChrisOlivera was clipped by UConn keeper Andre Blake while trying to run onto a ball flicked into the penalty area by defender Grant Bell. The goal snapped Blake’s 293-minute scoreless streak.
Though UConn outshot Bradley, 7-3 in the first half and 20-6 overall, the Huskies did not manage toput a shot on goal until the 68th minute. Bradley goalkeeper Brian Billings made five saves to record his third shutout of the season and 16th of his career.

FOUR-GOAL WEEKEND. Sophomore Joey Calistri followed up his hat trick performance in a 4-0 win over Green Bay with thegame-winning goal for Northwestern in its 2-0 win over No. 10 Butler to help the Wildcats capture the NIU Tournament Title.
Calistri, who scored in the first goal in the 11th minute, hasscored six goals in Northwestern’s last three games. Junior defender Nikko Boxall added his first goal of the season as the Wildcats improved to 4-1-0.

— No. 8 UAB suffered its first setback of the season when it dropped a 1-0 loss to East Tennessee State on own goal in the62nd minute. ETSU finished with a 17-8 edge in shots.
— Behind two goals from Pedro Ribeiro along with a goal each from Agust Arnarson and Ricky Garbanzo, Coastal Carolina handed 15th-ranked UNC Greensboro a 4-2 loss.
— Memphis rallied for goals by Kenneth Kauker and Shane Keely in the 81st and 86th minutes to beat No.21 Charlotte, 2-1.
