Torres on Target in Rare Blues Start

Fernando Torres scored one and set up another in a rare start for Chelsea, as the Blues cruised to a 2-0 win against third-tier club Swindon in the League Cup. Torres tapped home from close range in the 29th minute before running past two defenders and slipping the ball through to Ramires for Chelsea’s second six minutes later. "For the players who have not played in the last few matches it was good to play - everyone is happy,'' Torres said. "It is one step forward. Everton lost 2-1 at Fulham, and West Ham edged Cardiff City, 3-2.
