France cruises to easy win in opener

[WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015 QUALIFYING] France scored three goals in the space of six minutes early in the first and cruised to a 4-0 win at Kazakhstan in its 2015 Women's World Cup qualifying opener, the first competitive game since former French international goalie Philippe Bergeroo replaced Bruno Bini as the Bleues' head coach.

Marie-Laure Delie, Gaetane Thiney and Sabrina Delannoy scored in quick succession before Thiney completed the scoring in the 37th minute.

In other games on Wednesday, Finland beat Austria, 2-1, and Norway downed Belgium, 4-1. Ten more games will be played Thursday.
