AVB-Mourinho Breakdown Overshadows London Derby

Ahead of the meeting of their respective teams in the Premier League on Saturday, Tottenham coach Andre Villas-Boas revealed that he and Chelsea manager Jose
Mourinho are no longer friends. AVB worked for his compatriot for seven years while Mourinho was manager of Porto, Chelsea and Inter Milan, before deciding to move on in pursuit of more
responsibility. He suggested that the pair did not part ways amicably.
"We had a great personal and professional relationship before. We don't have that now," Villas-Boas said. When asked
if it would be fair to say that he no longer considers himself friends with Mourinho, he replied, "Yes, I think so. I don't think we need explanations. But our relationship has broken down. I think we
have the mutual respect for each other and we understand what we have been through cannot just disappear, but it's not like it was before."
When asked for his views on the relationship, Mourinho said he would not discuss such things with the press. "I don't describe [the relationship] because
I'm not a kid to discuss relationships with the media,” he said. “It's a personal thing. I don't care what he says. I'm here not to comment on what he says ... I'm not interested…
I'm just here to speak about anything you want related to the game, not related to this situation."
