Seattle-New York kicks off MLS's Sunday night run on ESPN

The Seattle-New York game with the Supporters' Shield lead going to the winner kicks off a series of Sunday night matches on ESPN.

All will air beginning at 9 p.m. ET and all feature teams involved in MLS's exciting playoff race. The Sounders will appear on three of the four games, while the defending champion LA Galaxy will play in the last two ESPN games.

The first three MLS games on ESPN this season were all weekend games, but they kicked off in the afternoon.

MLS Sunday nights on ESPN:
Sept. 29: Seattle vs. New York
Oct. 13: Portland vs. Seattle
Oct. 20: LA Galaxy vs. San Jose
Oct. 27: Seattle vs. LA Galaxy
(All games kick off at 9 p.m. ET.)

MLS ON APPLE TV. MLS has joined MLB, the NBA and NHL in offering live streaming of games to MLS Live subscribers on Apple TV. In addition, free MLS content on Apple TV includes video highlights and full episodes of MLS 36 and MLS Insider.

COSMOS-ROWDIES SHOWDOWN. The first-place New York Cosmos and unbeaten Tampa Bay Rowdies play for the NASL Sunday night at Hofstra University. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. ET and the game will air live on SportsNet New York and at www.OneWorldSports.com.

ROMA ON BEIN SPORT. Roma, the only team in Serie A with a perfect record after five games, goes for its sixth straight win when it hosts Bologna on Sunday (live at 2:45 p.m. ET). Michael Bradley remains sidelined after spraining his ankle before the Costa Rica-USA World Cup qualifier.
