U.S. U-18s rally for 2-2 tie with France

[TOURNOI DE LIMOGES] The U.S. under-18 men’s national team held host France to a 2-2 tie on the first day of the the Tournoi de Limoges. Second-half goals by Andrija Novakovich (Chicago Magic PSG) and Alan Winn (Solar Chelsea) earned the USA a draw after it had fallen behind 2-0 after 28 minutes.

Metz's Maxwell Cornet scored for France in the second minute on a goal from 25 yards and 28th minute before the USA recovered to pull even on goals by Novakovich in the 55th minute and Winn in the 79th minute.

The USA will face the Czech Republic Friday and Poland Sunday at Parc Municipal des Sports de Beaublanc in Limoges.

This is the first tournament for the current cycle of players who will prepare for the 2015 Concacaf Championship.
