No. 18 Marquette celebrated the grand opening of the new stadium at Valley Fields with a 4-0 shutout win over previously unbeaten
Georgetown on Sunday afternoon. The Golden Eagles snapped the No. 8 Hoyas' 13-game unbeaten streak and remain in sole possession of first place in the Big East standings with a 5-0-0 record.

The win extended MU's win streak to seven games.
"Our team knew we had to play at a high level today to beat a very good Georgetown team and we excelled in all areas of
the game," Marquette coach Markus Roeders
said. "I am excited for our group because they rose to the challenge. When you play as good of a squad as Georgetown,
