Brazil rolls to big win over host UAE

[UNDER-17 WORLD CUP] Brazil earned its second 6-1 win in two games at the Under-17 World Cup, this time against the host United Arab Emirates, to join Italy, Japan and Tunisia, also winners of their first two games, as the first teams to ensure passage to the round of 16.

For the second game in a row, Nathan had two goals for Brazil, which also got two early goals from Boschilia and one goal apiece from Joanderson and Santos youngster Gabriel.

Taro Sugimoto had two goals for Japan in its 3-1 win over Venezuela on Monday, while Italy and Tunisia both earned 1-0 wins in their second games.

Honduras, which knocked the USA of the tournament finals, looks to be in good shape to earn at least a third-place berth. The Catrachos followed up on their 2-1 win over the UAE with a 2-2 tie with Slovakia.
