[NASL PREVIEW: Week 13] The New York Cosmos get a second crack at clinching the NASL fall title when they travel to San Antonio on Saturday.
A Cosmos win over the Scorpions will set up a date with the Atlanta Silverbacks, the spring champions, Nov. 9 in Soccer Bowl 2013 in Atlanta.
If they don't win, the Cosmos get a chance to clinch Sunday if the Tampa Bay Rowdies, the only other team with a chance to catch them, don't win at FC Edmonton.
The Scorpions
have won their last three games at Toyota Field -- all their wins of the spring season.
"We want to spoil their party," said Scorpions interim coach
Alen Marcina. "For us, this is our championship game. To be the best you have to beat the best. This is an opportunity to show our fans that we want to close out with our fourth win in a
row at home, and again spoil the Cosmos' party."
