Burnley mascot sent off for not bee-having

[OFF THE POST] Bertie Bee, the mascot of English League Championship leader, was sent off early in the Clarets' 2-0 win over second-place QPR after he offered a pair of glasses to one of the referee's assistant.

The incident took place in the second half of Saturday's match -- the first in which American Oguchi Onyewu suited up for QPR -- and Bertie Bee was led off the field by security after getting his marching orders from referee Simon Hooper.

He was seen in holding pen in Turf Moor.

Come on ref, have a sense of humor! He's a mascot, he's supposed to do stuff like that...
