Russia has been thrown into yet another soccer scandal after a Nazi flag was unfurled during Spartak Moscow’s Russian Premier League game against Shinnik Yaroslavl on Wednesday, which was
abandoned in the 53rd minute due to crowd violence. Video shows Spartak fans throwing flares and smoke bombs and clashing with police shortly after halftime. In the end 78 people were detained after
the game was abandoned.
