Youngsters earn call-ups for Brazil game

[USA WOMEN] U.S. women's national team head coach Tom Sermanni has named 18 players to the roster that will face Brazil on Nov. 10 at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. (TV: NBC, 3:30 p.m. ET.).

The squad includes goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher of the Boston Breakers as well as young Bayern Munich midfielders Amber Brooks and Erika Tymrak and U.S. U-20 star Lindsey Horan of Paris St. Germain.

Both Tymrak and Horan have one cap, while Naeher and Brooks are looking for their first caps.

Sermanni also recalled defender Stephanie Cox, who had her first child on April 7 and returned to the field for the end of the inaugural NWSL season to play four games for Seattle Reign FC. She is a veteran of two Women's World Cup teams (2007 and 2011) and one Olympic team (2008).

The five players who were with the USA in October are unavailable because of UEFA Women's Champions League commitment: Ali Krieger, Meghan Klingenberg, Christen Press and Whitney Engen of Swedish club Tyreso and Megan Rapinoe of French club Lyon.
