There were some fans waiting at the hotel and Abby said something like, ‘Sorry guys, we aren’t allowed to take pictures or sign autographs, but we can take a picture with these guys 'cause they are family.’ Then as we drove away. I just screamed and said, ‘Oh my God!’ I couldn’t believe it.”

-- Carley Painter, a 14-year-old U.S. women's national team fan who picked up Abby Wambach, Hope Solo and Carli Lloyd after the women's national team bus broke down after practice Saturday at the Florida Citrus Bowl and the players hitched rides back to their hotel.
