Fulham Appoints Meulensteen as Co-Head Coach

Fulham on Tuesday appointed former Manchester United assistant Rene Meulensteen as co-head coach alongside current manager Martin Jol. Meulensteen, 49, left the Premier League champion in June after it was revealed that David Moyes would be the successor to the retiring Alex Ferguson. The Dutchman then joined Anzhi Makhachkala in July as assistant to Guus Hiddink, and was soon promoted to head coach after Hiddink quit. He lasted 16 days before being fired.
