Defending champion Lindsey Wilson returns as No. 1 seed

[NAIA: Women] Defending national champion and top seed Lindsey Wilson heads the 31-team field for the NAIA Women's Tournament. Play begins Saturday with first-round action.

This will be Lindsey Wilson's 15th consecutive appearance in the national championship. The Blue Raiders have a 28-12-1 record in the tournament with three national titles.

The 15 winners first-round winners, as well as host Mobile, will advance to the 30th annual NAIA National Championship Dec. 2-7 in Orange Beach, Ala.

Two teams made the postseason for the first time after winning their respective conference crowns: Columbia (Mo.) and Our Lady of the Lake (Texas).
