Quinnipiac, a small Division I school from Hamden, Conn., gets a chance to take on mighty UConn only 54 miles away for only the second time as the Bobcats make their NCAA Tournament debut Thursday.
"Everybody is really excited about this," Quinnipiac coach Eric Da Costa
said. "Obviously, UConn is a storied program and [UConn coach Ray Reid
] and his staff do a tremendous job. I think it creates a little bit of buzz and a lot of excitement. I think it is a perfect matchup."
