All 80 boys teams will be in action when the U.S. Youth Soccer National League kicks off its seventh season Thursday in Wilson, N.C. Teams will
be competing in the new under-14 age group all the way up through under-18s. National League: Scoreboard
Florida's Sunrise Elite, which became just the fourth boys team to finish a National
League season unbeaten and untied, enters the under-16 age group. Another team that can get its second title is Maryland's U-18 OBGC Rangers, who have scored a league-record 22 goals in each of the
last two seasons.
Other defending National League title winners are Georgia's U-17 GSA Phoenix Premier (GA), Arizona's U-17 CCV StarsBlack and Ohio's U-18 CUP Gold. GSA’s
three titles are currently tied with Dallas Texans for the most by one club in league history.
California's West Coast FC, also entered in the U-18 division, is one of two National
Champions in this year’s National League field, along with U-17 Smithtown (N.Y.) Arsenal.
