Report: Bayern Munich to Play 2014 MLS All-Star Game

Bayern Munich looks set to play next summer’s MLS All-Star game, according a report in the German daily Abendzeitung. The German treble winner is looking to expand its presence in the USA’s ever-growing soccer market, having recently revealed plans to open a New York office. The report claims that Bayern has now agreed to play the All-Stars in Portland in the summer of 2014. However, with the World Cup to be played until mid-July, the game is likely to be scheduled for some time in mid-August.
