Report: Dempsey Favors Everton Loan

SportsDirect News on Tuesday reported that Everton is the favorite to snap up Seattle Sounders striker Clint Dempsey on loan during the January transfer window. Dempsey, who has represented both Fulham and Tottenham during his time in the English Premier League, has been linked with a possible move to either of his former clubs as well as Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham. However, according to the report, the 30-year-old favors a move to Roberto Martinez’s team.
