New Mexico is one of only three teams along with Maryland and UConn playing in the round of 16 of the NCAA Division I Men’s Tournament for the third year in a row, but the No. 7 seed Lobos hope thistime will be different when they host Penn State Sunday. They lost to UConn in overtime last year and to USF in a shootout two years ago. James Rogers and Niko Hansen, who lead the team in scoring with 19 points each. “We have some very talented attacking players,” Lobos coach Jeremy Fishbein said.“And it’s going to take a special moment for one or two guys to put the ball into the net. Nothing’s going to come easy. We have to continue to defend as a team.”
