Zusi, Besler and Keane repeat Best XI picks

[MLS AWARDS] Three players earned back-to-back selections to the 2013 MLS Best XI, including Graham Zusi and Matt Besler of MLS Cup 2013 host Sporting Kansas City. The LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane is the third player to make the Best XI for the second year in a row. Galaxy teammate Omar Gonzalez was selected for the third time after missing out in 2012 following his knee injury. The Portland Timbers led all teams with three players named to the Best XI.

Five Americans were selected, though only Besler, Gonzalez and Zusi play on the the U.S. national team that qualified for the World Cup. Portland's Will Johnson plays for Canada, while Mike Magee of the Chicago Fire is uncapped.

Two first-year players were selected -- Defender of the Year Jose Goncalves (New England) and Newcomer of the Year Diego Valeri (Portland).

Besides Besler, Gonzalez and Zusi, the only Best XI pick excepted to play in the 2014 World Cup is Australian Tim Cahill of the New York Red Bulls.
