Maryland's Mullins heads MAC Hermann Trophy short list

[MEN'S AWARDS] Maryland forward Patrick Mullins, the 2012 MAC Hermann winner, is again on the shortlist for the 2013 MAC Hermann Trophy. Six of the 15 semifinalists will be in action this weekend in the NCAA Division I men's quarterfinals.

The only other player returning from the 2012 men's semifinal list is Georgetown forward Steve Neumann.

NCAA Division I coaches who are NSCAA College Services members may vote for their top choices through Tuesday. Soccer fans can vote for their favorite player on the MAC’s website hosted by LockerDome, starting Thursday.

The top three vote-getters from the combined NSCAA coaches and weighted fan votes will be announced as finalists on Dec. 12, followed by the announcement of the winners at the annual MAC banquet in St. Louis Jan. 10.
