In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Jermain Defoe says that a potential move to MLS club Toronto FC is out of his control. The Tottenham striker acknowledged that hehas been linked with January moves to either Toronto or West Ham, but that ultimately, “it’s out of your hands.” Spurs coach Andre Villas-Boas, on the other hand,said: “It doesn’t mean that we’re going to accept any offer and I think [Defoe] knows he is better staying in the Premier League for his England chances.”
