An Australian-born coach of an under-10 boys team in England was fired for his win-at-all-costs-philosophy. In an email to parents, Justin Bryne
, a successful
corporate executive who lives in a mansion, told parents: "I am only interested in winning. I don’t care about equal play time or any other communist view of sport." He said parents who
complained their child did not make the club's first team were "not doing their sons any favors" and they "think sport is about knitting." As for his son? "The only reason I am coaching is for him to
be able to play."
