The John Wooden (and Mary Poppins) of college soccer

Bobby Clark's 13th season at Notre Dame proved to be lucky as the Irish won their first men's soccer title. But long ago, the Scotsman had had an impact on the players he coached at Dartmouth, Stanford and Notre Dame. Several of them dubbed him the "John Wooden of college soccer." But as Pete LaFleur reports, Georgetown coach Brian Wiese, a former Dartmouth player and Stanford and Notre Dame assistant, preferred to call him "a little bit like Mary Poppins."
