De Rosario returns to Toronto, six other players picked

[MLS RE-ENTRY PROCESS Stage 2] The 2013 MLS Re-Entry Draft concluded Wednesday with the selection of seven players in Stage 2. Former MLS MVP Dwayne De Rosario went to his hometown Toronto FC. With the No. 1 pick, D.C. United selected Argentina Fabian Espindola. D.C. United led all teams with four picks in the two stages.

De Rosario, who was born and raised in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, played part of three seasons with Toronto FC (2009-11) before being traded to New York on April 1, 2011. Later the same year -- his MVP season -- he moved to D.C. United.

Players not selected in either stage of the Re-Entry Process are available on a first-come, first-served basis to all clubs.
