Wayne Rooney scored his 150th English Premier League goal, the equalizer in Manchester United's 3-2 win over Hull City, which had taken a 2-0 lead after 13 minutes.
"I
always thought we'd go on and win it," said Man United coach
David Moyes. "What we've got here is the capability and I don't think there would have been one supporter who thought that
the game was over (when we went two down), I certainly didn't."
Rooney assisted on
Chris Smalling's header to pull Man United within one and
James Chester,
who had scored Hull City's first, hit an own goal for the decider.
"It was a great volley," Moyes said of Rooney's goal. "We know that Wayne's capable of that and that he can score all
sorts of goals."
