Report: PSG to Launch Massive Messi Bid

Paris Saint-Germain could be set to test Lionel Messi’s commitment to Barcelona as Le Parisien reports that the super-rich Ligue 1 club is preparing a world record 210 million pound ($346 million) bid for the Argentina captain, a fee that would nearly triple the current world record transfer set by Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale last summer. Earlier this month, Messi publicly challenged Barca VP Javier Faus, prompting rumors that he could be seeking an exit from the club that has nurtured him since he was a teen.
